In conjunction with the new monthly Employers on Campus events at Umpqua Community College, the Community Education program is offering UCC students and alumni three free seminars aimed at helping increase the odds of a successful job search.

Job Interviewing Tips and Tricks

Learn effective strategies for interviewing with a potential employer. You will gain exposure to local hiring managers and professionals, and have a better understanding of the purpose of job interviewing and the techniques necessary to move forward in the job hiring process.

How to Dress for a Job Interview

Gain suggestions and tips for building an appropriate wardrobe for job interviews. Learn how to assemble a personal wardrobe, identify low cost alternatives, and how personal grooming and presentation standards lead to a professional presentation.

Creating Job Ready Resumes

Explore current resume formatting requirements so that you can develop or tailor a basic resume in preparation for a job interview. You should bring your current resume to the workshop and be prepared to receive instruction and feedback on how to tailor the resume to the current job environment.
