Roseburg — Umpqua Community College will sponsor a six-week class, “Microscoft Word 2007 for Absolute Beginners I” on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning October 28 from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. at Workforce Training Center, 2555 Diamond Lake Blvd., Room 13. The cost is $45 and the instructor is Janice Parker. Call 440-4604 to register and ask for sequence number 24622.

This 15-hour course is designed as a beginning level word processing class using Microsoft Word. Topics include creating, revising, formatting, saving, retrieving, and printing documents. Students should have already completed the course Windows for Absolute Beginners.
