Diabetes and the Caregiver

Winchester— Umpqua Community College is offering a workshop, “Diabetes and the Caregiver” on Tuesday, January 29, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at UCC campus in Snyder 18. The tuition is $3, class fee is $24. To register, call 440-7744 and ask for sequence number 33182.

What’s diabetes and why is it such a big deal? Diabetes educator, Amanda Morrow, RN, BSN, CDE, offers important information for health care providers and for anyone who needs to know the facts about diabetes. Symptoms of diabetes, blood glucose testing, and diabetes management will be addressed in detail. Three Continuing Education Units provided.

Registration is limited to 20 students. Register early.
