UCC hosts “rookie” sports camp for boys and girls, kindergarten-grade 3

Umpqua Community College is hosting a summer Arookie@ sports camp for boys and girls in kindergarten through third grade, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., June 29-July 2.

Children will be provided with an opportunity to develop and improve the basic fundamentals of throwing, catching, batting, kicking and running in a variety of games and sports. The emphasis of this camp is having fun. Afternoon swimming is also included in the fee of $50.
