Do you feel “stuck” and need help to move up?

If you can’t move up because you don’t have a high school degree or GED; or

you lack some basic skills, the Adult Basic Education program at Umpqua

Community College can help you:

- Improve your reading skills

- Learn to write an essay

- Study math

- Enhance your job skills

- Write a resume

- Learn computer skills

- Prepare for the GED 

 

Adult Basic Skills Programs

book-capThrough the Umpqua Community College Adult Basic Education programs adults can study to improve basic skills in reading, writing and math, prepare for the GED test, earn a diploma or receive tutoring in English as a second language.

The Umpqua Community College, Woolley Center Adult General Education program is one of the few ABE programs in the state who has received the distinction of being awarded a charter from the National Adult Education Honor Society. For more information on the Honor Society, READ
