Placement Test

The placement test is required for all credit students. It is given on a walk-in basis in Testing Services, which is located in the Campus Center building. The placement test is an assessment tool which indicates the entry level of math, reading, and writing for each student. Placement test scores are valid for one year.

There is no cost for the initial placement test. Retests are $6 per section.

The placement test is not required of transfer students who have had their transcripts from other colleges sent and evaluated by UCC and have successfully completed a math and writing course at other colleges.
