Career After College Fair

The Career After College Fair is open to all current UCC students and alumni.  Click here to find out how you may begin preparing for this event.

Career Network

Umpqua Community College is committed to providing students a variety of career services and resources. Students can access the following in the Advising and Career Service Center (ACSC) in the Campus Center building during regular business hours. Some resources are also available online.

Career Counseling

Career counseling aids students in selecting a course of study and may help them decide on a career that is suited to their aptitude, personality, interest and skills. It is a process of making an effective correlation between the internal psychology of a candidate with the external factors of employability and courses. For more information about Career Counseling at UCC click here

Experiential Learning

Experiential Learning opportunities include informational interviews, job shadowing, internships, and cooperative work experience.

Job Placement

Through the federal Job Location and Development Program (JLD), our Job Placement staff identifies employment opportunities for students who want to work regardless if they are eligible for federal student aid. Part-time and full-time vacancies are posted in the Job Placement office and also online. Posting are located in the Center and program registration is required.
